Today, I will introduce you 5 useful plugins for Firefox. They help to make things simple!

First one: The Resurrect Pages

This plugin can help you to visit unavailable website with its cache from google and other snap cache website. You just need to install it in your Firefox, and click with a button. It is very easy to use and powerful.

Second, the “smart link” which will open plain text URLs.

You may confuse that what the hell is this? For example, you want open a website, however due to some boardband  reason, it is slow… and hard to be open. In this situation, you can use the smart link to open this page, it will remove all the picture, css and js codes, in order to make it open faster.

Third, the Copy Link URL.

This one will help you to copy all the links on a page. That will save you lots of time when you need to collect links data!

Fourth, A famous Seo extension “SEOQuake”.

This is a super tool for seo, you can check the webpage’s ranking, backlinks, traffic and many many more stuffs. Also, it will show these seo datas in EACH of the google search result!

Finally, the pass words saver

This plugin will remember all your pass words, and lock them with one pass word. So next time you need to login a website, you don’t need to put in your pass words and account each time. It is really helping.

It seems like every day there is a new website for getting stuff done over the internet. From buying someone a drink to having pretty much any task performed, you no longer need to interact with a person beyond a virtual acquaintance over the internet. However, the newest addition, while based on the same principle of connecting over the internet for non-internet purposes, actually involves meeting and interacting with a person.

Called GoLoco, it’s a recently launched company which aims to make car pooling much easier and more efficient. On their website, you post where and when you will be driving. Others who are going the same place as you and need a ride can find your listing by searching, and if you agree they will travel along with you. This isn’t just for simplifying rides though. It could also be great for the environment, since the more people sharing rides the less overall cars getting driven around.

So far though, there’s probably nothing that gives you much real motivation to either pick up a complete stranger or get in someone else’s car that you know nothing about. However, this is where it gets interesting. While you can pick people up just for the sake of it, the website is also set up with money in mind. If you choose not to do it for free, the passenger pays a share of the total cost – and it will be deposited in the driver’s account (with the exception of 10%, which goes to the website) before you even meet each other. Assuming the driver doesn’t just ditch and keep the money, one person has gotten the ride they needed and the other now has more cash.

Even if the idea of helping to save the environment while at the same time making a quick buck sounds intriguing to you, you’re probably wondering if it’s worth trusting some random guy named “Carp00ler8796″ who, for all you know, could be a serial killer looking for his next victim. Well, it wouldn’t be, unless you knew a bit more about the person you would be riding with. Luckily, GoLoco thought of that – and so each profile contains plenty of information like what they look like, if you share any of the same friends, who else trusts them, their description of themselves, and feedback from those who have previously traveled with them. Details of every trip are e-mailed to your “security buddy” too, so if anything went wrong it wouldn’t be long before someone got help.

The only way this will work is if a lot of people start using it though. Then, people will get plenty of feedback on their profiles and you can tell who to trust, and you will be able to find (and provide) rides to people in your area whenever it’s needed. It’s definitely an interesting and useful idea, and we’ll see whether it takes off or is forgotten like so many others.

Hahahahahahahaha. No. No, I won’t be signing up.

Why don’t they just make a website where you volunteer to get raped and dismembered? It’d save a step.

I’d gladly car pool with Brian Peppers, seems like a nice enough guy.

Haha, I did a double take when I look at the graphic and realized it was him.

That graphic is awesome.

Ever since the 300 trailer came out, people have been editing and splicing it with various other movies. So you don’t have to, I’ve weeded through many worthless and repetitive mashups to find the best. Here it is, the 300 trailer – re-cut.

Anchorman

While the lip syncing isn’t nearly as good as some of the others, there are definitely some hilarious moments.

PG Version

Halo

I could make a whole post of only Halo ones, there are just so many that are well done. So if you want to see more, here are some others: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOFwmVM8g8E, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwL0_izeNuQ

Pokemon

lawl already wrote about this, but it’s worth seeing again. The Pikachu slap is hilarious.

Naruto

Mulan

Mighty Ducks

Sandlot

Having not seen Sandlot, this would have to be one of my least favorites here. Still, it had its moments and the slow motion effects fit well.

Requiem for a Dream

There’s also a much longer version, here it is if you want to see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTUSu0RHKgw

Army of Darkness

Firefly

Shrek

This one’s alright, but not as well done as some of the others. A lot of the lip syncing isn’t great, although some clips fit perfect. It looks like it was made using only footage from the Shrek 3 trailer though, which is pretty impressive.

Smokin’ Aces

Open Season

Want more? Here are a few others I didn’t include: Happy Feet, FLCL, Console Wars, Gears of War, and the worst one of them all. If you know of any others or decide to create your own, make sure to send it my way or post it in the comments.

These are great. But really surprised that no one has done a LOTR:ROTK version. Especially with the final scene at the Black Gate. I would but I don’t have a video editing program.

If your web page/site requires javascript, please say so. Don’t just assume that your viewers have everything under the sun already installed and enabled.

“If your web page/site requires javascript, please say so. Dont just assume that your viewers have everything under the sun already installed and enabled.”

The only javascript should apply to the rotating header images, otherwise the rest of this site is done entirely in (valid) CSS. Hardly ‘everything under the sun.’
